Hello and welcome to the year 2022, my amazing and wonderful jutterflies,
*insert "It's only my third day out here" video*
I am truly so happy that I was able to have this day off to do this entry because it has been a long time coming & I originally planned to have another post before the end of the year, which fell through. I have been super busy lately, and you can also say Christmas and New Year snuck up on me like a bat out of hell.
Originally, I did plan to have a YouTube video as my final entry for 2021 on my blog and the first video of 2022 on my YouTube channel but.., that fell through. I recorded it on my phone and once I tried to import it to either my MacBook or iPad it just was not cooperating, so we went the old-fashioned way and made an entry-post. Everything that I said in the recordings, I promise to cover in this entry, so stay tuned. :D
What the months of 2021 taught me:
January:
The first lesson of the year, in January, taught me to learn the value of your words. Words are literally spells. Something that I do say frequently, but something that I am also working on maintaining and remembering. Words can be very dangerous; the frequency and vibration of words are very strong. Since it is super important, you do not want to play around with something like that. Which ties back to one of my favourite books (The Four Agreements) and to be impeccable with your word. (Definitely going to be reading that again this year).
February:
February taught me that not everything is permanent. Another piece that I feel that I have known for a while, but I need to keep reminding myself. The people you know or are currently talking to are not always going to be around; not everyone is going to stick around. The only person that around you forever, is you. You will be with yourself forever. All the people you meet/come into contact to maybe from junior high, senior high, college, work, primaries, and as far as you can remember are not permanent; not even blood. Connections only last as long as you make them last.
March:
The month of March taught me that happiness is a state of mind and that you do control your reality, and the things you take in or allow. Your thoughts create the majority of your reality. Especially with the Law of Attraction, what you put out is what you receive.
Nice = Nice. If you want to be sad and emit sadness, you are going to receive sadness, if you want to receive abundance, wealth, love, etc., you have to get on the same level/wavelength to get anything from that level. It only makes logical sense.
You are the only one that can control your happiness. If anyone is doing anything to your happiness, it should be adding onto it, not supplying it. S
>>> Also spent a lot of time in the gym in the months of March + April.
April:
April taught me to learn the value or perspective and perception. You have to understand and grasp the value of how others see you and how you see yourself. Of course, the second is more important than the first, but everyone has a role to play. No one wants to be viewed as a mean person or a negative person. Me, personally, I would prefer people having nice adjectives when speaking of me. Would it not feel better to know that when you are being viewed, you are being seen in a positive point of view rather than in a negative point of view?
>>> Started my blog and published my first entry on 11 April 2021.
May:
May taught me that people are fragments and reflections of yourself. Think of yourself as a mirror, a shattered mirror at that. And those people are those pieces of glass from the mirror (you). In life, you are learning and unlearning and when you come into contact with these reflections you need to pick up on cycles, what resonates, what does not resonate, and then keep it pushing. Not keep it pushing as in recognizing it and leaving it alone, you have to learn what you need to learn from that reflection or fragment of yourself. Obviously in life you are not going to meet all your reflections but with the ones that you do, you need to make the difference, you have to flip that switch, you have to snap that finger, and you have to grow. It is all up to you.
"With growth comes change, and with change comes growth. It is an equal give and take." - As Told By Jared
>>> Stopped eating all meat and became pescatarian on 15 May 2021.
June:
The teaching of June taught me to be grateful. As basic and as simple as it sounds, it is something that should not be taken lightly. Being grateful really makes a difference in how you see the world. When you are in the vibration of being grateful, you move different, you act different, you think different. When you are grateful for all the things you have, there is nothing to complain about. Especially when it comes to being perceived, be grateful for the encounters you have, be grateful for the job you have. Please be grateful for those luxuries. Not everyone has them, not everyone has a car, not everyone has a job, not everyone has money in the bank, not everyone wakes up every day in a beautiful bed. Not even everyone wakes up. As miniature as it sounds, be grateful.
I was also supposed to upload a solar return vlog, but time, once again, got the best of me. (an excuse) Again, thank you to my family and Jasmine for an amazing 20th solar return. I still appreciate it.
>>> Orlando Trip (5-7 June 2021) + First Record Player (3 June 2021)
July:
July taught me that life is too short, explore, learn, do whatever you want, and not to keep yourself in a box; experience. Life is about experience. Be yourself and live regardless; ignore what others say, and what can or could happen. Just vibe, just vibe, and live your life the way you want to live it.
>>> New York Trip (17-19 July 2021)
August:
The lesson I learned in August was that everything is energy. What you put out, you will receive. Similar to the teaching of March. Protect yourself and your energy. Your energy is everything, your time is everything, you are everything, and you are connected to everything. Any and every thing, you are connected to, so be mindful of it.
September:
The teaching of September was on getting back into loving myself, treating myself, and giving myself whatever I want. Value yourself, put yourself on that pedestal. Always reward yourself, you do deserve it. Put yourself first at all times.
>>> Also went on a social media hiatus until November 9 September - mid November.
October:
The month of October taught me to be my authentic self. I was still on my hiatus at the time, so I was pretty much focusing on school and unavailable to people. I was under the radar or M.I.A. as you would say. Only those who reached out or those I let know I was going on a cleanse knew of it. Pretty much focused on myself, work, and school on the months of September, October, and November. (August + December as-well)
November:
November taught me not to rush into anything. Apparently in the video I did not talk about it, I unknowingly skipped over it. This is just something in any instance, aspect, or challenge in life, slow and steady always wins the race. Everything happens on its time. Follow Divine Timing, always remember that, and do not rush into or rush anything.
December:
The final teaching of 2021, in December, I learned not to take accomplishments for granted. This was my final semester in college (for my Associate's degree) and applied for graduation. I almost did not walk for my AA. I honestly and truly cannot believe that I almost did not walk for this great milestone. All the time and energy that was invested in me, and I almost did not want to appreciate it correctly. I am so happy that I did, words cannot actually explain how I would have felt if I did not. On December 15th, I graduated this semester with four Bs and one A and an Associate in Arts degree with a Concentration in Journalism.
Thank you for going over what I have learned this year and reflected on. Hope it could have helped or taught you something as-well.
Affirmations:
For the Good of All and Harm to None,
Iye Surrender to the Eternal and Divine Forces.
Everything Iye Desire Comes To Me Easily and Stays With Me.
Iye Deserve Everything That Iye Desire.
Iye Receive Fame and Recognition Easily and They Both Stay With Me.
Iye Am Simple Yet Divine.
Iye Do Not Chase, Iye Attract, What Belongs To Me, Has Already Found Me and Has Made Itself Known To Me.
Personal Note from Jared:
āSurrenderā
Breathe in and breathe out. Release yourself from any and every rope, tie, knot, chain, and bond that no longer serves you. Surrender to the Eternal and Divine Forces.
Chosen Lyric:
āSurrender to quantum consciousness (...) Surrenderā
