Abundant and Blissful November to my readers, subscribers, and jutterflies!, ♡


Welcome to the first entry of November and Happy Scorpio Szn (season).

As you can probably guess from the title, even though, you cannot actually guess what this entry is possibly going to be about unless I have fortunately been speaking about it to you. (Yes, the moon interviews are still on the back burner, since I am missing a few, but I will probably go by the quadruplicity that I have completed already.) For those who are unaware of the term 'quadruplicity' or need a refreshment, continue to read on; for those of you who are already familiar with the term, you can skip over this fragment of the entry and go underneath the divider.

quadruplicity- the state of being fourfold or of forming a set of four.


Now, I will be talking about quadruplicities based on astrology and my definition (the actual definition) A quadruplicity is a grouping of four (zodiac, sun, star) signs in to a single group. That single group being a particular element. In astrology, modern, and classic, there are four elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. The Fire signs are: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. The Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. The Air signs are: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. Finally, the Water signs are: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. (Happy Scorpio Szn again to those who may be Scorpios and those who may know any Scorpios). The Signs in order from first to last would be: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. All 12 signs, in order. That was just an #Astrology101byAsToldByJared, and I hope you enjoyed it. :-)

And now we are back, the time is 23:03 on 7 November 2021. What a beautiful and refreshing weekend I had. And I appreciate every minute of it. Life is too short, to spend worrying about the small things. But little big things make life spectacular. Spent time with the family and got to relax, but that is not want this entry is going to be about. I am going to be moving a bit deeper and giving you all a bit more substance in these entries. This entry is going to be about getting into your self-love/self-care/spiritual journey. I would not see this as short, but I do want to attempt to give a good amount of information, but also kind of simplify the concept. I will be talking about my week at the far end of this entry. Enjoy the tips below!


 

Starting your journey.


a. Figuring out why you are starting your journey.

When starting your journey, you are going to need to find/figure out why exactly you are starting this journey. As simple as it seems to “start” you have to maintain it, which will be broadened in b. Deepening your journey segment. I am not going to give you reasons to start your journey, am I always going to be there to explain everything or recommend things you should be doing? No. I am a teacher just as much I am a student. There is duality in everything. Understand that.


You should ask yourself the following questions,

  • Are you starting this because you have been hurt?

  • ** Or are you starting it to understand why you no longer want to go through specific cycles of being hurt?

  • Are you starting this because of peer pressure?

  • ** Or are you starting it to be on the same level as those around you, for a greater and healthier benefit?

  • What am I going to gain from doing this?

  • Will I be on a different wavelength when I start and flourish on this path?

  • What can I improve in myself?

  • Do I need to change my perspective?

  • How can I be seen differently? ~ for my own benefit.



b. Deepening your journey.

You have to understand your journey. Once you have already figured out why you started your journey, you must deepen it. As you start to understand and love yourself more, you will grasp the meaning of selfishness. And when I state, selfishness, I do not mean keeping things for yourself and being spiteful to others. I mean in the sense of setting boundaries and understanding that you have to put yourself first. You are the first priority. We are all equal, if there is something bothering you, speak about it there and then. Do not push things under the rug. You can also conduct research. People have been planted with the idea that self-care is bubble baths, glasses of wine, #treatyourselfday, and other silly things. Every day is 'treat yourself day'. Treat yourself amazing, every day.


Beginning and deepening your journey:

  • Adding a regular exercise routine. — Please start at a level you know you can work with. Do not burn yourself out.

  • Getting a notebook/notepad/journal for your personal writings. — It is not necessary to buy one, but it is recommended. Especially, if you want to feel that you are starting something new. And please be consistent.

  • Setting a meditation schedule. — Meditation/mindfulness is so important. I was first exposed to it by my senior high school teacher, Ms. Allison. <3 Start small with this one as well. Get comfortable with your energy and grounding it.

  • Researching self-care tips. — Hopefully you can find some similar to these that could help as well.

  • Speaking highly of yourself and removing self-doubts — This can of course be partnered with affirmations. When you think, understand that you are creating and amplifying the reality in front of you. Your mind is so powerful.

  • Changing/altering your eating habits. — Now, I am not saying to go vegan, vegetarian, or anything like that. Just understand what you are putting into your body. Your body is a temple, an alter, and a divine source of life. Take Supreme Care of your body. Read the room.

  • Protecting your peace and/or cutting off certain individuals from your space. — This is highkey one of the most important in my opinion. Set boundaries, walk away from certain situations. When you start your journey, you will realize how many people go out of your life. It is meant to be. Trust and believe. Everything happens for a reason. Trust the purpose. Not everyone is meant to meet the version of yourself that you are transforming into.

  • Limit your usage and time on social media. — Social media spreads trauma whether you realize it or not. Take a hiatus if necessary. Social media plays such a large role in the world we live in today. It is easy to think social media does not affect you. It does, even to the best of us. Take a break, and you will see how much free time you have for yourself. ** Three days ago, actually made two months social media free. **

  • Understand your subconscious mind. — Your subconscious mind is such an important factor in your everyday life. Psychology and sociology of the human mind is not a game. Not necessary for this (it is) but still necessary to understand human beings. So…, why not understand yourself at the same time? What is do you have to lose from fathoming yourself?

  • Playing and listening to positive subliminals and affirmation music. — Both of these can be found on YouTube. Music now and prior have subliminal messages in them, why not rewire and reinforce positive messages onto your mind, body, and spirit. Be mindful of the music that you are listening to. When ever you get the chance, read the lyrics of the songs you are listening to; words are spells and you repeating and thinking lyrics magnify them.

Just a few “simpler” ones (I guess).

  • Smile just a bit longer.

  • Spend some time outside.

  • Take a walk.

  • Close the door, turn off your phone, and have a nap.

  • Talk to yourself.


Sidenote 1: All of these things together are obviously amazing. But please, I beg you not to overwork yourself or to pressure yourself to do all of these things. You do not even have to do any of these things. These are merely suggestions. Everyone does their journeys differently.


Sidenote 2: I am here to tell you, this entry is not going to be here to sugar coat or to advertise that trend of spirituality and self-care, self-love, and all of that nonsense. We do not do that around here, authenticity at its upmost best. To get into your journey you do not need crystals, divination, weed, etc. You just require yourself. Do not follow the trend, be more than the trend.



c. Being comfortable with your journey.

Now, obviously, this is probably the most important segment of your journey. Being comfortable is already significant, but you have to be comfortable with why you are starting it, deepening it, and how it makes you feel. People always have opinions, screw them. Yes, I said it. Screw them ~ What did Ariana say?, “thank u, next” Simple as that. You are the most powerful factor, you have the ability to control what you want and desire. Just as comfortable you are with the clothing that you put onto your body, the type of soap you use, the sheets you sleep on, you need to be comfortable with your process. I say it all the time, “trust the process”. So much magic in the process!


  • Watch the things that you think, do, and say. (Subconsciously and consciously).

  • Conduct sessions of reflection and/or shadow work ** what the notebook previously spoken about can also be used for.

  • Continue to show love to yourself. Check in with yourself, make sure all is okay.

  • Understand everything that you have “lost” is actually what you have gained. Everything is a lesson and for your benefit.

  • Keep the things that no longer reside in your life away. They are now non-existent. The things you have walked away from; let them go. They no longer resonate with your path, it is okay.



d. Continuing and perfecting your journey.

There are several ways to continuing and perfecting your journey. Do understand, your journey can end at any given moment, it is not permanent, but it has ended. You start another one. We are evolving all the time. Learning and unlearning every single day. Your eyes can only fathom so much.


You should also be mindful:

  • Is your journey feeling fulfilled?

  • Are you taking note of the ways you are being interacted with on a day-to-day basis?

  • Do you think anything is missing from your life? ~ What can you do about it?

  • Reprogram your mind from "Why is this happening to you" into "Wow, this is happening for me!"


~ P.S. I know that there are probably some things that I missed, but, I wanted to try my best to get this out to you guys and give you all a good amount of information. I appreciate you reading, I know this one is a bit long.


 

Like I said previously, this weekend was great. Best believe that it was deserved. I had so much classwork to do, and I was ecstatic that I completed it before the end of the week. Classwork in my International Relations course, African American Literature, History Up Until 1877 and Astronomy. Trust me, the week has been hectic. But starting tomorrow (today) I am going back onto my fitness journey. Icy boy winter is back in session babe. Be ready.
